How to Use the RJALPHA Dashboard and AI Chat

This guide walks you through your first session on the dashboard, what you'll see, how to navigate it, and how to get the most out of the AI assistant.

Signing Up

  1. Go to rjalpha.app and create an account.
  2. Choose your risk level (1–5). If you're new to crypto, start with Level 1 (Steady). You can change this at any time.
  3. If you're at Level 1–3, choose your accumulation style: Momentum-led (the default, waits for momentum to confirm), Value-led (buys when prices are historically cheap), or Blended (a mix of both).

Don't overthink these choices. They can be changed later. The important thing is to start.

What You'll See

The dashboard shows all available charts. Every chart is visible regardless of your risk level, you're free to explore everything. The AI is what tailors the experience: it will tell you which charts matter most for your level and how to read the signals that are relevant to your strategy.

The Charts, Where to Start

If you're Level 1, these are the three charts the AI will focus on:

BTC Cycle, Your long-term compass. Shows where Bitcoin is in the multi-year cycle (Deep Value through to Danger). This tells you whether prices are historically cheap or expensive.

Risk Averse Strategy (HODL Index), Your primary action signal. Tells you what percentage of your position to hold (0–100%). When it says EXIT, the recommendation is to step aside. When it says HODL, you're fully in.

BTC Fair Value, Shows what Bitcoin should be worth based on current liquidity conditions. When price is below the model, BTC is cheap. When it's above, it's expensive.

As you move up levels, more charts become relevant. The AI will introduce each one and explain how it fits into your strategy.

Using the AI Chat

The AI assistant is the core of the platform. It reads all the signals in real time and gives you context-specific advice. Here's how to get the most out of it.

Tell It Your Risk Level

The AI chat doesn't remember your risk level between sessions. At the start of a conversation, let it know. For example:

"I'm Level 1 with momentum-led accumulation. What are the current signals saying?"

or

"I'm Level 3, blended style. Should I be adding to my position right now?"

This ensures the AI focuses on the charts and signals that matter for your strategy.

Good Questions to Ask

  • "What are the current signals for my level?", The AI will check the relevant charts and give you a summary.
  • "Should I buy right now?", The AI will check your action signals (HODL Index, BTC Cycle, etc.) and give a recommendation based on current data.
  • "What does [chart name] mean right now?", The AI will explain what a specific chart is showing and why it matters.
  • "Why is the price dropping?", The AI can check liquidity conditions, sentiment, and macro context to explain the move.
  • "I have fresh capital to deploy. What should I do?", For Levels 4–5, the AI will check BTC Cycle to guide deployment. For Levels 1–3, it depends on your accumulation style.

Questions to Avoid

  • Don't ask for specific price predictions ("will BTC hit £100K this month?"). The AI gives data-driven guidance, not price targets.
  • Don't ask about coins not tracked on the dashboard. The AI's analysis is based on the data it has access to.

Each chart on the dashboard has a "How it works" dropdown that explains what it measures and how to read it. Use these as quick references as you learn the platform.

The AI button on each chart lets you ask the AI specifically about that chart's current reading. This is the fastest way to get context on any signal.

Changing Your Risk Level

As you learn and grow more comfortable, you can move up levels. There's no minimum time at any level. If you started at Level 1 and feel ready to explore rotation (Level 2), go for it. The AI will adjust its guidance automatically.

Moving down is fine too. If you're at Level 3 and decide you want a simpler approach, dropping back to Level 1 is a perfectly valid choice. The best level is the one that matches your risk tolerance and the amount of attention you want to give to the market.

The Evening Alt League Update

If you're at Level 3 or Level 5, the Alt League chart updates with highlighted coins every evening, the best entries based on the day's data. These highlight which altcoins are meeting the most entry criteria and which are safest to be in.

Remember that altcoins are highly volatile. Even the "safest" Alt League picks carry more risk than the majors. The entry criteria and Leverage Risk Gauge exist specifically to filter out the worst setups, but risk is inherent in this part of the market.

Quick Start Checklist

  • Create your account and choose your risk level.
  • Open the AI chat and tell it your risk level and accumulation style.
  • Ask: "What are the current signals for my level?"
  • Explore the charts, use the "How it works" dropdowns to learn as you go.
  • Check back regularly. The dashboard updates in real time, but you don't need to watch it all day. Once a day or a few times a week is enough for most levels.
